The Kivu Geoheritage Project is motivated by a commitment to have an impact through community development, environmental sustainability and the enhancement of natural heritage (geodiversity and biodiversity). Our activities involve people with different cultures, perceptions and knowledge. We believe that the diversity of cultures and local community’s knowledge are essential in the conservation of natural heritage.
